Zaza Farrell, the founder of EmpowHER Enterprises Inc., empowers people, especially women and girls from all walks of life. After overcoming low self-esteem, misfortune, and shame, Zaza realized that circumstances, material possessions, or the opinions of others do not determine power and self-worth. Driven by this knowledge and her strong faith, she created a non-profit organization that combined her passion and skills in Human Resources.
Zaza knew she had a gift for empowering girls and women through self-development opportunities and helping them become the leaders she believed they were destined to be. She founded EmpowHER because she always wished someone believed in her. There are countless women and girls who lack support but are seeking growth, and through EmpowHER, Zaza hopes to impact and change the lives of many. By helping young girls and women, EmpowHER aims to impact their lives, careers, and families positively.
Professionally, Zaza has extensive experience in diversity and STEM+ healthcare-related outreach initiatives, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with universities and professional organizations. She helps leaders identify and attract critical talent for their businesses. Her key areas of expertise include identifying high-potential talent, diverse talent acquisition, and university programming. Whether developing cutting-edge strategies to address the changing workforce or designing and implementing processes related to diversity programming, Zaza has partnered with her clients to align business strategy with HR solutions. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Rutgers University and an MBA from Florida Metropolitan University.
Personally, Zaza is happily married to her wonderful husband, Dr. Robert Farrell. They believe time is precious, and by living fully awake and curious, they can create a deeply fulfilling life grounded in passion, love, and purpose. She is also a member of the illustrious Top Ladies of Distinction organization.
"She is full of wounds riddled with scars, but she is still standing, and she is still beautiful."
